Frequently Asked Questions
We have hundreds of soccer coaches just like you visit our site daily. Some coaches take the tour and join immediately, some join the FREE tip of the week and keep coming back. Others send us a question using the contact us form.
The questions that we receive from non members are varied but there are some common questions that get asked so, here are some answers that potential members want to ask...
Q. How secure is the site?
We take security very seriously and this site has 128 bit encryption the most secure the web has to offer at the moment. Whenever you make a payment online you absolutely must look for the following in the address bar
This means that the site is secure and has a secured server license. Beware of giving you details if this is not displayed!
We are registered with the UK Data Protection Registrar under number Z7039682, and have a business merchant account with Lloyds TSB. So you can rest assured we have your personal security high on our agenda.
Q. How often is your site updated?
Our site is updated throughout the week. Typically, we add new content in the form of drills and coaching information eack week. As a minimum you'll find two new articles and drills each week, but often there is much more. In the soccer forum we get questions on a daily basis, so there is always something new to read on there daily.
Q. Can I cancel my membership at anytime?
Yes, you are in complete control of your account and can cancel at any time. Once you become a member of Junior Soccer Coach you have total control over how long you want to be a member for.
You don't need to rely on us to cancel your subscription if you no longer want to be a member you can cancel it yourself. We do this so you are in total control of your membership.
Q. Will I find information that will help me pass my FA/Uefa coaching badges?
Yes, a great deal of the content that we write will help you if you are looking to further your coaching qualifications. In the Coach Development department you'll find information that will help you coach better, in the Training Ground you'll find drills and small sided games with all of the key technical and tactical coaching points summarised for you.
So you fully understand the drills you'll also see that all most drills have multi media animations or there is video footage to help understand the drill.
Information in the pages of JSC will help you if your doing Level 1, 2 or 3.
Q. Do you run junior and youth soccer teams?
We are actively involved in running, coaching and managing junior and youth soccer teams. The age groups that we are active in include, Under 6's, Under 10's, Under 14's and on occasion we do get involved in some semi pro sessions.
Because we run teams, we understand all of the ups and downs of running a team, the time it takes to organise training sessions, all of the adminstration, how to raise funds, dealing with parents on the sidelines, picking the team, dropping players etc. What you'll find in the content pages and the soccer forum, is real life examples and advice written by coaches by coaches who are "just like you"
Q. Is there any special software that I need to download?
No. We provide soccer information in standard formats.
For example, all pages are available in a printer friendly format. So if your short on time before your next training session, you can find a drill, print out and take it immediately to your session. Try one out in the sample soccer articles.
Most PC's have a Flash player loaded which is what we use to deliver most of our video and multimedia content. Although it may be necessary to download a free shockwave player too. We've put a page up so that you can download for free any of the players that you need to get the most from our site.
