Inside Tactics - Soccer Tip of the Week
We have put something special together for you this week as part of our Inside Tactics Tip of the Week. This is straight off the desk... well tactic board at least. This week Lee & I have been talking about defending with a back four and getting them organised into a more formidable unit. Those video's will be published this weekend for our members to view. Now as we were talking through getting the defenders organised we discussed the key role of the goal keeper and we shared our thoughts on goal keeper communication but also positioning. Your goal keepers positioning will also help organise the back four. If your defenders feel nervous about your keepers positioning and ability then no matter how much you tell them to push out they'll still hang back. So here is a simple tip that you can share with your goal keeper to help them with their positioning. It's really simple, but very effective. Try it with your keeper this weekend you'll see immediate results. Click on the play button below and watch the short video tip.
If you have any topics that you'd like us to cover or want some help with your teams formation, whether that's mini soccer or playing youth 11 a side just drop us a line in the soccer discussion forum. Good luck in training this week, Neil PS This weekend we'll be publishing more essential video's on how to organise your team more effectively as well as all the usual drills and small sided games.
